Hmm, never considered Roxboro as a place to stay. How far from the track?

It'd probably be about a half hour or 20 mins. I think South Boston would be an easier drive and maybe 5-10 minutes shorter.

South Boston was about 20 minutes or less. The drive to VIR from there is pretty fun. Plus, SBoston has places to eat and several car washes

I went to the Laser car wash since my car was extremely dirty from the drive down there. It was only $10 IIRC. Also, it was automatic, but touchless. Not the best but it gets the job done. I believe there were also a few others around there where you can wash your car by hand.

I've never been to Roxboro so I'm not sure what kind of area that is.

Just an FYI, those of you who attended the Night At the Races, we raised $5,000, of which my branch is donating $500.00 to the Semper Fi Fund and we are mailing out care packages to the 4 different troops stationed in Afghanistan.
