PS pulley people beware. I'll let the picture do the talking:

I was told that I would have a replacement by now which still hasn't shipped. I was also told that the PS pulleys would be redesigned and then remade for everyone. At this point y'all gotta forgive me for being pessimistic. (headshake

HOLY s*** BATMAN!! Thank god I haven't installed mine yet.

Brach,
Will I be reciveing a new PS pully as mine was one of the original ones? Also have you read my PM about my ALT pully yet? I will post pictures of my ALT pully later on when I get my car back from my Mech and the stock pullies put back on.

OK, did this happen pressing it on the shaft? Looks like it went on a bit past being flush like oem. Shaft looks to be protruding about an 1/8 or more. Or did this happen while in use? & what happened to your alt pulley? Caught wind of design change but didn't know why it was being changed or that there would be a swap out of any sort.

Hey 505zoom, when did the pulley break like that? Was it being driven or still being installed? No offense, but it looks like it was possibly installed poorly.

Alt pulley broke his belt and something else, I dunno. I have the alt and wp pulley that I installed myself and everything is still great with mine.

Jeg,
The inner ring off my ALT pulley broke off and broke my belt. Currently my car is in the shop getting the stock pulley put back on. I'm currently talking with Medieval wia PMs on this issue. It appears to both my mech and myself that the pulley had a defect in it. That is all I will say for now.

I think your alt was put on wrong side out and put too much pressure on the lip. You may need to be blaming your mechanic and not Brach.

no the pulley appears to have been machined down to far on the last grove. And you can only put the pully on one way and have everything line up.

Exactly, and whos to say it wasn't ligned up? That may be as well though, would be nice if you had another one to compair it too. I just would think that since yours was in the same batch as mine they would all be the same, mine fits the belt perfectly.
