Got Rear-Ended last night.

Dont know the total dmg or anything yet, but the tow truck driver figures its a write off cause the frame looks warped.

I stopped at a yellow and got rear ended by a GMC Envoy, witnesses said he was going about 50 or 60 km/h when he hit me.

I was shocked and let off the brake so my car ended up in a tree about 100ft away.

Only 2 weeks old with 1000k on her.....oh well

Just out of curosity, what does the front end look like??

I have to agree that it is probably totalled, a couple of years ago a Jeep Cherokee pulled out in front of me and with the snow on the road I couldn't stop. My car was totalled and I think your MS6 may have more damage than my Honda did.

I feel your pain and your loss. I was rear ended a month ago in my sister's Mazda 3. http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123677722 It was also hit by an SUV, a Ford Explorer at 55mph and it was considered a total loss. Well I'm glad you are ok.

was in a similar accident.. got sandwiched having the front end damaged as well..
the rear had frame damage.. repair cost totalling near 12k...
insurance deemed it repairable.. considering the value of the speed.. theres a possibility they may fix it..

Yeah still nothing from my insurace, but the front end looks fine, no dmg at all.

Personally I'd rather it be a write off. I would be without a car for too long and it'll never feel the same after something like this.

And to answer Trees' question No, no airbags went off, not even in the Envoy that hit me.

Anyways I should finally know about my speed6 this week. If its a write off I'm debating picking up black MS6 or white MS3....I'm not a huge fan of FWD.
