U live in edmonton too eh? Yeah I read ur other post about ur car. I'm in the same boat. Insurance is slow as s*** here and we have horrible drivers!

I still dont know about my car even after 3 weeks. All I was told is that it was towed to the salvage yard.

Yep. Insurance companies don't give a crap. It's terrible. Who's your insurance company? I'm with TD Meloche Monnex.
Been driving a Pontiac G6 V6 for almost a month now. Before my vacation I had a Dodge Caliber SXT.

Just not the same. =)

I'm with TD Primmum. And I've been stuck with a friggin PT cruiser for 3 weeks lol.

I can't imagine how a room of engineers got together and concluded that it would be a good idea to put window controls in the middle of the friggin dash!

Wow man. Welcome to the club. I got rear-ended less than 2 weeks after I got my MS6. All I needed to have repaired was the bumper and everything under it. That cost $3500.

Good thing they total'ed yours...but I hope you make back the money you just spent on the loan so you can get another.

Are you going to be able to part it out? When I had a car totaled they just let me keep it even though I got a check in the mail for its assumed value. I paid $3K for a Grand Marquis but when someone backed into the side of it, it would have cost $3.5K to repair. They cut me a check for $4K, the adjusted value of the car, and I just drove it for another year until the electrical system when haywire.

Well heres the good news. The insurance settled with me for 43k. And I'm picking up my new Velocity Red MS6 GT later this week!

Glad you're ok, man. Same thing happened to me in 96. Junkie returning from his daily methodone pop, slammed into my 81 X-11 at a red light, never saw me till he hit me. Totalled a sweet car I wrenched myself from brand new for 16 years. Ins. co. settled for $1200. car was 10K new. Never fell in love with another car again... then I got my MS6! lol! Good on you for going for another, great color too!

Buy the wreck from the insurance co, yank the 2.3, electronics and drivetrain, ...let the creative juices flow, you need a winter project, right?
