Got my skyline today...xmod that is :D

lights... reminds me of my old HPI rs4 MT with blue LED headlights that lit up the road and functional brake lights... ahh that ruled.

Anyways, anyone got voltage specs for the ESC and what kind of voltages it can handle? Running an extra 2 cells for 9v total sounds pretty cool.

we put a one of the headlights in the supras exhaust and it looked pimp, not something id do to a real car but on a rc car its pretty funny

thanks for the advice. one thing i would suggest when painting this ****** is go to walmart and try to buy some silly putty, because using masking tape took almost 2 hours just to mask off and trim to my standards.

what the.....ive never heard of these things!!

they look cool though

how much are they??/

(matt, btw, i pm'd ya)

check your pm.

it was 50 bucks for the basic car kit, and i paid 15 bucks for the stage 2 motor upgrade.

LOL the XMOD looks exactly like my Kyosho Mini-Z...mine is fully suped up, motor, motor mount, suspension, aluminum wheels, bearings, NiMH batteries, and my favorite...the TURBO MUHAHAHA!!! Ill post some pics later.

bearing upgrade is for all the plastic bearings i guess they have inside the car and hard to get to places, my friend is going to do the bearing upgrade ill tell you if it makes a difference, im sure it helps out, you have to take the whole car apart to do the bearings

get some quality masking tape meant for painting and you can apply curves and what ever in one strip. thats what I do

no no no i just have big hands

LOL, ok, well, is it like one of those things where u have to know a lot about cars??

or can my 12 yr old bro handle it?

your 12 yr old bro could handle it. plus it comes with instructions on how to do everything.

no, he should be fine, its not that hard to do the mods but like matt said, smaller hands would work perfect its kind of hard to put the screws on pieces since they are so small, they come with instructions on howto do each mod if you buy them im sure he will be ok

i need to find a REAL fine tip blue marker, so i can write volk on each of the rims.
