good deal?

im getting a set of 03 pr5 rims from a guy, and i just wanted to know if im getting a good deal.

hes including a set of summer tires(around 70% tread) and a set of winter tires (around 85% tread) and hes painting them black for me. all for $300
(price in canadian $)

so does this seem like a good deal? thanks to all that reply, i just need imput!

Considering I paid $200 for four steelies and snow tires for my winter set-up alone (which is a good deal), you are getting a damn good deal!

The only thing I'd be concerned with is how well he'll paint them. I'd ask him what procedure he is going to use to paint them.

he works at a shop, and hes getting one of the painters to do it. i dont know how hes doing it, but he says hes gonna need about a week to get them done "properly", so we will see how they turn out.

they are done and on!!!

well i got the rims and i put them on tonight. it was getting dark so i didnt have alot of time to clean them up or do any tire shine. maybe will post new "clean" pics tomorrow.(yippy)
