good cingular phone??

Alright i have nextel and it sucks so bad at this point, bellsouth/cingular is doing a package deal so im getting in out it... whats a good phone that works when needed and get service indoors. I like features like datebooks and s*** cause that what i use it as.

the Sony Ericsson T6XX series gets FANTASTIC reception. I've thouroughly enjoyed mine. The only problem (if you can call it that) is that its GSM only. but since you live in FL thats not a problem at all. all the Eastern part of the country is SATURATED with GSM towers.

I personally have the T616... great phone. (cingular service as well)

yea, what im looking at right now... i kinda want the motorola razor but i think itll be just a bad as my nextel since motorola phone technology is lacking.

Hey Cingular guys, i was looking at the T637 for bluetooth, but does anyone actualy have the data package? i see it on thier site but 70 dollars a month for unlimited is bulls***, especially when they just had the media works blah blah for 20 a month unlmimited usage...or maybe you guys know of any other providers with BT phones and reasonable data rates?

well now that thier with att they've gotten better i went from cingular to nextel and i was very happy... then the hurricanes came and it took out quite a few towers. Its just taking to long for them to get thier s*** together and ill save 100 dollars a month with this package thing.

Ill come home at night with 7 messages and only 2 missed calls, people will want to go out and s*** and ill miss it since my phone sucks. Hoping things would get better i acutally got a house phone instead so i could make phone calls indoors.

Yeah, its gay. I had planned to switch over to cingular from nextel because nextel phones sux the dix technologywise, i want bluetooth and GPRS data. I swear they had an unlimited data plan for 20 bucks a month but now its gone.

Well, if you want a data package, i would look at verizon, They offer 1xrtt (128kbps) that deducts from your minutes. Night and weekends means free internet. Great for carputers and laptops.

Tmobile use to offer free data, but i think recently they disabled it.

I went from verizon to cingular. The reason was better plans minute wise and bluetooth. Verizon has a b/t phone but it is crippled and there is not a huge choice.

bluetooth is def something im looking into... im just really worried about moto build qaulity, i like thier layouts but thier batt. life on my nextel was lacking and who knows who to plan for poor service.

Had it 2 months. A tiny bit on the large side but otherwise it's the bomb. I signed up when it was 19.95 for unlimited web/photo and text message. With bluetooth I can use it as a 2x dialup wireless modem for my laptop anywhere.
