Good Bye You All

btw, no more mitsu/chrysler.

mitsu is now looking for financial support.
Mitsubishi Motors got owned! Big time!

When they offered that 0 down, 0% APR and 0 payment till 1 year later.

They are still recovering from that mistake....whos the genious hardvard grad who thought of that! Didnt he realized that most people were going to drive it for 1 year and trade or sell it?

Common no piss match between the 2 cars.

If you do your research you wouldnt hate and you would admire what dodge has done. But honestly its 2 diffrent taste. Handeling vs Power....and thats the end of that story.

Read up before you start hating: http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/projectcars/0310scc_projneon/

Now tell me thats not a work of art! Look at the exhaust manifold...the ECU is alot better then ours, not to mention warrenty.

But I still love my MSP which has been problem free since september (knock on wood) And the looks get the ladies all the time! They might be 1/4 mile slow...but chicks dig the speed

Considering the Neon dies in 2005... or is it 2006? Anyway, the Neon goes bye-bye and as for the SRT4? Well, no one knows... The new car is supposed to be a Mitsu-Diamond Crylser hybrid.
i doubt it, i read an article from D-C saying they were pulling out ALL stock from mitsu

Well folks after months of debating, I finally traded in my 2003 MSP Protege, I traded it for a 2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4, I got 13,800 for trade in value, and got about 500.00 off MSRP for the Neon. I am gonna miss my car but so far I am happy with the Neon, Its a blast to drive.

Congrats on the SRT! Wow, you took a pretty big loss on the trade in, but know you will be happy with the Dodge.

How come you say that? With that, they can eat you up with percentage rates a year later and the resale value after a year decreases significantly! I wouldn't even consider that option. You would also be stuck in the car for another year since your payments don't start for a year. So not bad on Mitsu's part. Just my humble opinion. There is some strategy in to that plan.

Wow, I just can't understand someone who would take a double cornholing like that. First the measly $13,800 for the MSP, then just $500 off sticker on the Neon. Talk about more money than sense!

Congrats on the new car! Got any pics? The SRT-4s are badass. Tons of power, easy to get more, and with some suspension work they can handle pretty nicely too I hear. Glad to hear you're happy, that's all that matters, who cares what other people think.

I say taht cuz thats what alot of magazine said. Car industry is an classic example of managment mistakes and sucess...Ford Pinto and Crysler to name a few. But they learn from there mistakes.

They pushed alot of cars...but when it came time to pay alot didnt want to. I think they were talking about the new EVO (in R&T or something) and how well theyve been doing recently and trying to revamp there image. It was also said in one of the business mags I've read last time I went to the book store

If it was a huge sucess more car companies would do it...but to have the best of all three...kinda hard.

And what percentage Rate? O% APR

I understand, you wanted the power, and thye SRT-4 is a decent car....not the greatest in some depts., but neither is the MSP. I say, if you are happy with the SRT-4, go with it man, gotta respect the factory support for upgrades though for them, lucky bastards. If Mazda did that, they'd sell in a second(the parts)

True, but depreciation on cars are outrageous! SUVs and trucks hold their value if they are say Toyota or even GM trucks/SUVs. I agree though, seems like a HUGE risk.
