You've obviously never driven a big detroit machine. It's hard to hook most of those cars up to begin with, so most people prefer automatics. Same reason you see most supra's in auto. Not to mention, power-glide ftw.

Not true at all.

'68 Convertible 383 'Cuda's are one of the most valuable muscle cars on the planet because it's an automatic. They only made 14 in that configuration and only two are known to exist. I actually know one of the owners. It's completely subjective and dependent on the make and model of the car. (RTM)
