glowshift gagues

Has anyone used glowshift gauges before? I'm thinking about getting some very soon. like are they accurate? how reliable are they. I feel like they are just too cheap to be true. thanks!

I have had their boost gauge in my driver side air vent for almost 2 years now. No problems at all and very easy to hook up, a lot easier than the prosport.

Mine is on point. I also have a dashhawk for comparison and they match up so now I keep my DH display on other things daily since I have the glowshift boost gauge.

i had a glowshift tach and it rattled all the time. compared to the prosports, they really aren't made as well IMO. the prosports are alot cleaner looking at night too, illumination is brighter but not overpowering.

alright good info. its just that im goin to some car show that they will have a booth at supposedly, i was hoping to pick up at least the gauges for a good price since i figured they wont have the pillar brackets or whatever for our mazdas there.

is there a specific reason? or are you just biased.
if you're counting on it giving you an accurate boost reading, its worth paying a little more to get a better gauge. I know you don't have the same WGA issues I do, (stupid MSP! LOL) but knowing that your boost pressure is as reported, is a lot better than not being sure.

If you want to call it bias, I don't care what you DO get, I just think it'd be worth getting something better. prosport and autometer are the 2 that jump out at me... but there are others. obviously I'm not talkin about going magden ape-s*** style or anything.

buying quality stuff saves you a lot of money in the long run, in my use with them i would not recommend them they turned out to be crap, but whatever you want man. just my .02. :)

ok. thanks for the advice =)

I recommend you go with Prosport. I currently have glow shift gauges after a year my oil pressure guage doesn't light up correctly and the needle on my air fuel ratio gauge gets stuck sometimes. They are good for the price but I would definatley go with prosport.
