Steve, what you doing this Sat? Or even on Monday?

Plans tomorrow night, and sunday is the Game. ;)

I'd love to bring the 3 on by, and we can have fun plotting what to do.

Think ya could help me install a balance shaft delete kit in the near future as well? :D

Well I have to tackle taxes again as I have to finish those bastards for the company and myself. I work one of my extra jobs on Saturday... I have a game party on Sunday... and I work a LOT next weekend... But Monday night might work! So maybe we can shoot toward that and I'll try to bust my butt even more to get things squared away before then.

Later!

Steve

Well don't work too hard on my account. ;)

My class schedule is pretty lax this semester, I'm off at 1 on Wed/Fri and 4 on Thur. No class Mon and Tuesday is the only day with no real time for extra stuff.

Whenever we can set something up, fantastic!

Maybe it'd be easier if you listed what you are capable of making now so then we can tell you what we want either individually or as a group...I'm probably about to get my car sponsored, and I also have put aside some flow, so I'm all for it...but I havent heard anything concrete except for the SRI...so if you can give a quick list of whats possible in the near future I'd def. like to get the ball rolling...

Well here is the short list of what we are capable of right now... but the thing is that additional ideas outside of our capabilties are important because that will help us know where to expand our capabilities.

Here is a "list" of most of what we can do:
Sheet metals parts that can be bent or formed... but drawn/pressed we can not do
Laser cut parts
Nickel coating
Powder Coating
Custom electronics.
Microtech EMS's
Re-Cast motor mounts
Strut bars and bracing
Intakes
Piping?? (maybe Dp's and the like)
Custom Panels and CNC parts

I'm also finishing setup on various things including being able to get in:
AEM, Injen, Ferrea, Autometer, Royal Purple, and about 100 other brands. I'll also work to add more brands as I can.

I'm also authorized with Spec Clutches and with CP Pistons... so there are more parts I can provide.

I can also work on doing core exchanges for PandP'ed cylinder heads, intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds etc.

We can also do cast parts, intake and TB spacers and other things too...

The major area we aren't touching yet, and will not go toward anytime soon is body parts... carbon fiber or fiberglass. We just aren't set up to be able to do that kind of stuff unfortunately... and sides.. the 3 is dead sexy already! :)

Well like I said before, I WANT a front strut bar, so lets get it going....

Also, can you be a little more specific about the laser cut, sheet metal parts, and cnc parts????

I hear ya about the body parts...thats a tougher area to take on at this point...

Also, how about some drilled/slotted rotors, maybe also larger while we're at it??

The front strut bar is definitely high on the list.. I'm going to pull in some materials soon, and then I'll spend some time working on it with Badger Biker to see what we can come up with.

As far as the sheet metal and CNC stuff.. basically anything can come up with we can do in those departments... If it can be made out of a block of metal or a sheet of metal we can do it. So I can't be real specific or I'll start limiting it... but some current examples... we make gauge plates, and heat shields.... we can do billet shift knobs if desired (but we can't really compete against the mass produced knobs)... we can do trim pieces if you wanted them... etc. We are also hoping to have some very cool and very novel brake cooling ducts in the near future as well.

Drilled slotted rotors aren't the way to go... you are best spending your money on higher quality pads.. you'll get far bigger gains in braking power and resistance to fade by going that route. Factory blanks are the way to go... cheap as hell and spend money on good pads and you'll easily outstrip the tires you can get on the car. Doesn't do much for looks though.. but we specialize more in performance and custom components rather than asthetics overall...

Well I will spread the word and do some thinking myself to see what I can think up...for the strut bar--balls in your court...quality product, reasonable price and I'm in, just tell me when YOU'RE ready to take my order!

Will do. I'll try to push as hard as I can on the strut bar... I have one other secret project in the works for the 2.0L that will be out hopefully in a couple weeks... once that is done I'll be more free too.. and I'll bring it over for the 3's as well once I gauge how successful it is... but it's a goodie :)

ide like to see a front strut tower brace and some stiffer engine and tranny mounts. get those 2 things goin and im in for one of each. (cool)

oh yeah one more thing. i dont know if its possible because of the side air bags.....but an a-pillar guage cluster thingie would be kool. thats about the only place us guys with the nav system can put any additional guages.

STOP ALL THIS CHIT CHATTING AND GET TO WORK DAMMIT.

I wanna see parts and I wanna see them now. Ready to "reallocate" from the child's education fund as necessary.

I'm going to be working with Steve this Friday on the strut bar.

We'll see how it all goes, I'm sure there will be updates ;)

Thanks badger.....it is very appreciated...

PS-while you're there convince him to make 1 in blue(like the AEM CAI blue)!!!!! If I can get 1 of those then all I can do is....(bowdown)

A rear strut bar would be more beneficial on our cars than a front strut bar. MAKE BOTH! :)

We will do everything we can to make a LOT of neat stuff... just a matter of demand... if we can't make enough money to finance the parts we can't do anything! So as long as parts sell well we'll keep making new parts and new ideas.

motor mounts deffinatly.... been searching the web and haven't come across any as of yet. strut bar has my interest as well...

Hey this may be a lame idea when we're talking about performance parts...I'm just brainstorking here, but I've been trying to find some stainless steel type door sills for our car....is that possible??? They have some out that are nice, but they go over the plastic ones and stick w/ 3M tape...I'd rather have something that replaces the stock ones and maybe snaps on the same way....Lemme know

could be doable. I'll look at Badger's sills to get an idea... depends on what is necessary for bends etc... but it is doable... we'd need a group buy to initiate that kind of product because of the initial design expense involved for that sort of thing.

Well I have a thread going on in the forum and a few people have showed some interest in the ones I described below....What do u assume price and timeframe would be, and how many orders do u need? I'll post it on the thread and see who bites....But we'd have to work out a nice design..I have something pretty simple in mind that you could pretty much copy from, like I said I just dont like the way they are installed w/ 3M tape...but as for design it looks pretty sweet..maybe some small tweaking and we're good to go...let me know
