I realize he has a mazdaspeed... I would do it for both cars.. it's just different dimensions overall design and how it is made will be basically the same.. so fear not I am on top of it! :)

I'm def. in on the strut bar, and PLEASE make color options available for those of us who are into engine dress as well....

Also, if SOMEONE would make a good supercharger kit I'd be ALL in.....All this talk about turbo(which kicks ass), but no ones mentioning the S/C option...why?

Also, some other ideas: Headers, intake mani, cams, pulleys, spark plug wires, just to name a few......can you guys pull those types of things off?? There's SO many people out there that are ready to really let the 3 show its potential---but dont have anywhere to turn to for parts....

I will do my best on color options.. but that adds cost.. and I have to be able to sell parts so I have to be able to maintain a sales rate proportional to the higher cost to be able to be profitable enough to keep making products. I make NO money... keep that in mind there isn't a soul in NSN Motorsports who gets a dime deposited in their bank accounts...

If you want to know on the S/C just email me and I'll explain, but the reaons are basically less potential, and more exagerated curves (which isn't good).

Pulleys and the like we can do... some of the other stuff is hard.. right now... now we can't... in a year or two.. we hope to... we are small and new... and trying to build up capital to handle the larger products... but that is a slow process when we are trying to keep prices competitive.. our edge is that no one makes money..

Ok, so how about a bsae price w/ no color options...and an additional cost for the color for those who want it.....I dont know about anyone else...but I'd be willing to pay $25-$50 extra for BLUE coloring....depending on how much the actual bar is gonna be....

That I can probably do pretty easy.. I'll look into it... :) I also have chroming options... and believe it or not I'm pretty sure my chroming source is cheaper than my powder source!!! :)

I'll keep you guys updated on this bar thing.

Later!

Steve

You mean like air filter assembly? Yeah we may tackle that one.. it'd be pretty easy if you wanted me to do so! :) Can you give me a measurement on the throttle body bore? I can create something pretty easy.

Later!

Steve

i mean like a cold air intake but is shorter and it pulls air from the engine bay and not from the ground. thus keeping me away from water.

Yep I follow and meant exactly that! :)

Honestly I can probably get that done in rather short order... just have to know the dimensions etc... I'll have to get one of the local 3's to lend me a hand and I can work on that for you.

what kind of price are we talking? also i don't want to have to cut or modify anything on my 3. taking off parts is fine.... cutting other parts to make it fit doesn't work.

Price is impossible to determine until I get near the final product in the process... I'd say somewhere under 250 most likely. And no you wouldn't have to cut anything.

ok. i think i found one from aem but the part number doesn't show up on aem's website. i will let you know if i still want one.

AEM does NOT nor will EVER make a SRI for the 3.

Some websites say they have them, but they are just putting up FAKE part numbers.

K&N is the only company with a SRI right now, and that's their convertible Typhoon system.

I'm looking to pick one up myself ;)

I honestly only need to take a couple minor measurements and order a few parts and I can have the SRI made up in no time. I'll use good silicone sleeving so it won't be super cheap most likely... but it will be nice! I can use cheaper joints should you want though.

honestly if its cheaper than 150, and won't fall apart on me then i don't really care what its made out of.

Well look at it this way, we are a small company establishing ourselves... we HAVE to make good products or we will go under very quickly! So I work very hard to ensure everything we make is very good... if something comes up down the road then we do everything we can to remedy it to more than the customer expects... so you should be confident in anything we make because we will stand behind it!

In other great news, I found a source for making cast parts... so I may be able to cast new manifolds and the like! :)

Steve- Would you be able to make a metal intake manifold?

Are there any benefits that can be had with a different intake manifold?
Something along the lines of this:

You have me on a NA bug right now. Damn you ;)

Well guess what...I found a new source that may be able to work this.. so if you want to work on it with me... I'm all for it :)

actually checking my cash flow right now i won't be able to afford an intake for awhile. i trust you guys to make a good product and i will buy one when i have the money.

Steve, what you doing this Sat? Or even on Monday?

Plans tomorrow night, and sunday is the Game. ;)

I'd love to bring the 3 on by, and we can have fun plotting what to do.

Think ya could help me install a balance shaft delete kit in the near future as well? :D
