GI: SpeedCircuit Protege Turbo Kit

If you are looking for a good idea for a rad hose, I found some 1.5" silicone hydraulic line, cut to length, and then ran a hose spring inside it to help it keep shape. Works like a charm and looks good too.

I have a different plan, but link me up to this stuff just for grins.

PS - 1.5" for the lower rad hose is HUGE. I measured it at 1 1/8" ID.

Ya, that sounds about right. Maybe I'm going off outer diameter. I don't have a link, it's pretty self explanitory though.

I don't know if I missed it, but does this kit have any running price for it...maybe 3K?
sounds like an amazing Turbo Kit!

Update - was sidetracked by another job recently, but here's my updated to-do list:

1-Finish downpipe (it's about halfway done now)
2-Make a wastegate dump tube (and tie it into the downpipe)
3-Weld on a BOV flange

I won't get to touch it until late this week, but we're gonna be firing it up soon enough.

Update - I'm currently building a couple of Protege blocks as my main focus right now, but here's what's left to do on the kit:

-Finish downpipe (it's about halfway done now) and add an O2 bung to it.

The car hasn't been run in quite some time, so it needs fluids, etc, and I have to tighten down all of the clamps for the turbo kit, wire some things up, etc.

Aside from that, the kit is pretty much finished, I just need to get the car itself going.

Just to make you guys sweat, here's a teaser pic.

The prototype kit is pretty much a done deal, I just have to connect the downpipe to the stock exhaust.

I can show you guys the completed kit if I really wanted to, but it's much more fun to post a pic here and there to drive you guys nuts. Plus it will buy me some time to get this car running and test it. :)

The car itself needs some work, as it's been sitting for some time and is a bit rusty.
