GI: SpeedCircuit Protege Turbo Kit

LOL... sorry for having to state the obvious, but I speak for many when saying... "HURRY THE **** UP!" Man I wanna see this kit. I would especially like to see the down pipe and intercooler. Maybe just a few teaser photos??

I'd rather not do the teaser photo thing since first impressions mean a lot, and I'd prefer to show off a finished prototype.

The reason things are taking awhile is because there are a few unique challenges to getting this kit setup, and the obstacles have to be tackled in a certain order.

I also anxious to see this, I am willing to drive down to his house to take spy shots and post them all over the internet, hahahaha.

I'll be announcing a pre-order list when these go into production.

How much farther out do you think until this thing will be released into production? I'm definately considering!

I've still gotta figure everything out, and I don't want to count my chickens until the car breathes again. That said, I'm not designing this kit to be inexpensive, so cost is a distant fourth to build quality, reliability, and performance.

I want people to buy this kit and never have to screw with it ever again. The same mindset I build my motors with.

PS - Here's all that's left on the to do list for this kit.

1-Finish downpipe (it's about halfway done now)
2-Polish all piping for that bling bling shine (again, about halfway done this part too)
3-Make a wastegate dump tube (and tie it into the downpipe)
4-Weld on a BOV flange
5-Make a custom lower radiator line

I'm currently waiting on some of the materials for this, but there isn't a heck of a lot left. I'm pleased so far with how this is turning out.

Awesome! Yeah I'm not made out of money or anything but I'm a lot like you. I'd rather spend the extra money knowing that everything I'm getting is of quality. And I'm also the kind of person who wants to get in the car and know its going to start and work every single time lol so letting you work everything out to me is worth the wait....plus it gives me time to build the cash fund. I'm anxiously awaiting the finished product.

If you are looking for a good idea for a rad hose, I found some 1.5" silicone hydraulic line, cut to length, and then ran a hose spring inside it to help it keep shape. Works like a charm and looks good too.

Exactly. My logic is that if you pay a little extra for quality stuff the first time around, you'll save yourself a lot of money and time, and aggravation in the long run, because there won't be a next time.
