Grabbed a few bolts and washers to check sizes and how they looked and the first bolt I took off snapped clean in half...

checked Lowe's for what HK used and no luck,

just found some of the

12 #12 Finishing washers (1 package comes with 6)

But not the:
Parts needed
6 6mmx20mm Machine bolts (with the reverse cone head)
6 6mmx16mm Machine bolts (same)

:( so... IF this works and you guys can get something close to this: \/ For a good price, (but in red for me :] , then Im in! )

Home Depot has them, so does ace hardware in the allen head.......... I did mine and pics are in the origional thread, Gathering all the pieces for a kit is a great idea.....You might want to include the valve cover bolts as well since that has now been done ;)

Yep, I am planning on including the valve cover bolts. (Or at least making them an option) The one nice thing about the finishing washers I will be using is that they are a solid piece of stainless and not just a thin piece of stamped metal like most finishing washers I have seen in stores. This makes them one of the more expensive pieces in the kit, but I think it will be worth it.

sub'd

but this TOATALLY made me lose my WHOLE train of thought...(cheers)(godown)

LMFAO

Sorry -____-"

and this would be amazing i just installed my tokicos n i put in new bolts to hold them in and that general section of my engine bay looks nice but the rest needs some work.

cool, post some pics! if i want.. lol

but my strut tower bolts are uglyy n rustyy. But i put new front strut mount kit when redoing the suspension V (in sig)

I picked up a small package of nickel-plated steel washers for comparison, since they are less than half the price of the stainless ones. They look okay, but they are kind of a "brighter" finish and don't match the stainless screws. They may work well for painting though since they are cheaper to start with.

Still shopping for a new camera (mine was stolen a couple weeks ago) but I'm hoping to get some better pics up here shortly.

Don't worry guys I have not forgotten about this! Just been a little busy getting a fiasco with some engine parts straightened out.

I will be posting some new info this weekend.
