That's fine if you would like to buy one from Beau, just make sure you let him know so he can possibly up the quantity he has ordered with me and get all of us closer to the 100 we need.pdhaudio83 said:definitely interested in taking one off beaus hands.
good news on the thicknessMP3racer said:That's fine if you would like to buy one from Beau, just make sure you let him know so he can possibly up the quantity he has ordered with me and get all of us closer to the 100 we need.
As for the thickness, it will be very close to stock (just slightly thicker), not intended to be used for lowering compression ratio. That is usually much better accomplished with piston design.

Reffoxel said:MP3racer Am I correct in assuming this gasket will fit the 03 2.0 Protege5? If so, put me down for 2 (in case I have to pull my head off - am building a second engine specifically for turbo charging). It'll be 2-3 months before I'm ready for gaskets anyway, still waiting on SS valves, valve springs and forged pistons before any machine work can be done.
Thanks, but already have ordered and paid for those through a local performance shop....just waiting on delivery.MP3racer said:As far as the other parts you mention (SS valves, Valve springs, forged pistons) we should have those available in short order as we are coming out with our "engine kit". Just awaiting a better price on the SS valves. Everything else is ready!!!

So far, I am happy with the performance of the stock head gasket. It has shown very reliable all the way to 330+ WHP. If they become available I, would buy them.jrodhotrod said:hmmm... perhaps Juan might be interested in picking up a few gaskets as well to help us meet the minimum req. for inclusion with his new MSP kits and regular HiBoost kits for the guys going forged?
Just wondering....whose valves and valve springs are you using?Reffoxel said:Thanks, but already have ordered and paid for those through a local performance shop....just waiting on delivery.
Right. And so far I am happy with my OEM gasket that you installed. Thanks again btw.HiBoost TS said:So far, I am happy with the performance of the stock head gasket. It has shown very reliable all the way to 330+ WHP. If they become available I, would buy them.
I still think that the OEM gasket is one hell of a gasket. Hasn't failed on me yet.jrodhotrod said:I am now convinced that OEM is better than Rubber for FI though.
