I have optimum online 10mbps max download/1mbps max upload. Do a search @ www.dslreports.com . Just search for Optimum Online, in zip code 08879. Check any of the speed tests. It's been voted the best ISP in North America.

here's where i spend too much time

power mac g4 dual 800mhz
osx & 9.2.2
256 mb pc133 ram (i know, i need more)
superdrive
80 gb internal, 120 gb external firewire drive
nvidia twin view (vga & adc)- 64 mb video ram
viewsonic a-90 crt (looking to buy a second to appease the adc port that's been begging for a play friend)

hoping to get a powerbook for work, more importantly - hoping to make more money to pay for all of this.

for anyone in the socal area looking for a cheap wedding videographer- i do wedding's as a side gig (shameless plug)

now i feel like an uber-geek

ibm clone
486dx
4 megs ram
520k hard drive
keyboard
mouse
external dial up modem (not very fast)
15" viewsonic monitor (color)
running windows (not sure which version?)
aol 1.2

Here's my ancient machine:

Compaq Presario 5660
Pentium III 550 (upgraded from PII4500
384MB RAM (up from 128MB)
12GB 5400RPM Seagate HD
60GB 7200RPM Maxtor HD (added in)
Diamond Viper V770 TNT2 Ultra video card (upgraded from ATI Rage LT Pro)
4X DVD-ROM
TDK 12/10/32 CD-RW (added in)
Compaq MV700 17" Monitor
Microsoft Intellimouse Optical
"Virtually Indestructable" Rubber Roll up Keyboard

It's ~5 years old...but still does what I want it to do. Thinking of building a computer next time around, that way I get what I want.

$39.95 CAD (Canadian dollar) is equivalent to $28.54 USD (US dollar) includes modem rental

this IS cable afterall (don't you share your bandwidth with neighbors also?), not to mention prices you're paying a higher price anyways. Compare apples to apples, dsl to dsl.
