Our cars have an issue with oil starvation, especially on road courses, the pan does hold an additional 1.5 quarts that was alluded to in th previous post, but it helps to eliminate oil going completely to one side of the pan, unlike the OEM pan.

it adds the extra oil but how does the car recirculate it, looking at it, most of the excess oil is down that hole there...please elaborate, i'm interested...

There is a oil pick-up that goes into the bottom of the pan from the block. This pan doesn't appear to be much if any deeper, just out more on the bottom. With this engine, if you are low on oil and make a hard sustained turn you will likely spin a rod bearing. The oil sloshes to one side of the pan leaving the pick-up open and sucking air, if your engine is at a higher rpm you've had it. If its at a low rpm you may see the oil light come on and have enough time to do something about it. I would be interested in one of these, but not right now.
