Gauge Pod

For those of you that are unaware or are looking for a single gauge pod, auto tech interiors has them readily available and are around thrity bucks. Im going to purchase one tomorrow.

i know on STI's someone made a pod that went ontop of the dash in the center, it was for 3 guages. I wonder if it would be possible to take that panel that has the center air vents in it and mold some pods onto it or if someone makes something like that already?

I dont know why but for some reason i cant paste the exact link for you.

I heard the tripple pod is not great. Dont know anythig about the dvd pod but you can buy an adapter to fit 3 gauges in it.

When i do this my self i will buy both so i can make up my mind while looking at them. If you use the tripple you have to butcher your factory dash peice, but if you buy the dvd also you can butcher that and keep the original.

I think with the triple you posted, you'll have to cut into the existing panel as this just goes over it and is secured with double sided tape.

Whats up guys. I finally received the pod and I must have misunderstood the pic. I thought it was a whole piece that replaces the stock piece but I was wrong. Its just basically a gauge cup that you can mount anywhere on the steering column. Dont get me wrong, it looks sweet and matches the plastic perfectly and it also swivels. I still think it was a good buy for 25 bucks. If you guys want pics I will take some for you.

Will do within a day or two. I mounted it to the right of the column where it doenst obstruct view of the spedometer. It looks nice IMO. Just like everyine else though. I would prefer a gauge pod that would fit in the drivers side air vent but no one has done that yet.

That gauge pod in that location will cover your speedo.You will not be able to see your speed under about 90Mph.I placed mine off to the right and it only cover the high beam light.

I only know of one person making this piece but hopefully will be picked up as a product by another local company, and a forum sponsor here.

custom, made it myself Probably not in the optimum fulltime viewing position, but it's there, with a quick glance you can monitor everything oil and boost related, and is great eyecandy during the day and night.
