I'm slow today, please clarify, Posted where?
I only know of one person making this piece but hopefully will be picked up as a product by another local company, and a forum sponsor here.

I can get a pic of the one I have later, it's not in the car.

I really want to get one like that one. I know Lotek sells one http://www.gaugepods.com/mazda.html
but I'm still thinking about it.

I'm considering this one too. I'm not too excited about cutting up my center dash panel so I'm still thinking about other options. I don't like the steering column pods. The A-pilar pods would be great but if the airbag went off, I wouldn't want 3 gauges being slammed into my face. I guess it would be possible to remove the airbag. Has anyone done this?

If anyone has one of these center dash pods, what do you think of it? (quality, functionality, etc.)

I don't like that one either, thats why I'm waiting for someone to find the one that have the ac vents integrated. I have search everywhere online but couln't find anything. (ugh)

I just got the center dash pods in the mail. It doesn't fit too well and it came with instructions for installation on an rx-8. I think I'll be giving Lotek a call tomorrow to see what's going on.
I like the AC vent idea but I want at least a boost and a wideband gauge so I need more room.

i would really like to find one like the subarus spt one thats about 1-1/2"mounts on the column and lights up red. everyone elses ive seen is the 2-1/2" guadges which seem too big for me

There is a guy at another forum that has been making this style. Im not sure any companies r making this style. He on makes like 2 or 3 a month...I think. So many people want them. He said he was going to put a few on EBAY real soon. I plan on ordering a new center piece and that triple gauge pod sometime next week.

I got the triple gauge pod from Lotek for the center dash and there are indents in front of each of the openings that keep the rest of the piece from sitting flush against my dash panel.

Has anyone else who has this pod experienced this?

I would think that these pieces are made with consistency so I'm curious what other people have done if they've had this problem.

Loteck's pods dont fit good. They used my my truck to develop the pillar pods for the lightnings. Even with everything i gave them, they still couldnt make a quality pillar for our trucks.

I really want a pillar pod for my MS3 and i may even disable the airbag to do this... I was also thinking of trying to get a custom pod made for either the left side upper dash, next to the speedo pod or on the opposite side. Theres even enough room to do 3-4 across the upper arch of the speedo area.

Both of those thoughts crossed my mind too. I didn't want to disable my airbag and I didn't want to risk getting gauges slammed into my face. The gauges coming off either side of the instrument cluster (I was thinking the right side) would be really cool looking but it the more complex shape of the cluster would make it more difficult to make a pod for.
I contacted Lotek to see if I can get a pod that's better made. Hopefully they'll work with me.
