our caps are magnetic?
+1
our caps are magnetic?
It's true. When my beloved Lois Lane died from being buried by the avalanche, I cried out in terror and flung the gas cap counter-clockwise into earth's orbit. The velocity of said magnetic gas cap caused the planet to spin the other way on its axis, thereby turning back time and allowing me to thwart Luthor's dastardly plans.
I thought about hurling it longitudinally, but that might have created a rift in the space-time continuum.
The fact that one forearm is bigger than the other means nothing! NOTHING, I tell you!
*cackles, cries*
Wha... what? No, uh... I belong to a bowling league...
As in one who bowls a shiatload of strikes? Yes...
to demod or to buy a new gas cap...
that is the question.
To read the entire post, before replying to it, would probably give you better insight into the situation.
They already replaced it, and yes for the guys that have been asleep since getting their car, the gas cap is indeed magnetic.

well crap! I want my money back then...the gas cap on my car, which is original, sure isnt magnetic.
So you are saying, at least with your old cap, that you could jsut put on any metal part of the car and it would stick?
Lol, no. But there is another magnet on the fuel door that it sticks to, or at least used to.
I will find you the youtube vid.
Here is the video:
