....So for those of you that don't know I bought my 6 about three weeks ago and I have been babying during the break in period. Today I could resist no longer and finally decided to see what it could do...and WOW! I never thought it was such a fast car because it doesn't have alot of low end torque, but today I ran it up to the red line it really goes in the high RPM area. It's so cool because the rate of acceleration keep increasing right up to the red line. You get pushed back in your seat more and more and more until the car finally shifts (I have a V6 auto). I've read alot of threads about this car being "sluggish" but now I know that is largely BS because you just have to get the engine spinning. Of course, those of you who have had your 6 for a while know how much fun this car can be but I just thought I would share that with everyone. I even look forward to going to work just because I get to drive my car there!

Just wanted to let you all know how great I think this car is and that I have no regrets. It's perfect. (thumb)

i bet you it felt like it was never going to break in..
haha i juss broke mine in recently.. got around 3000 miles now
Man if you love that pull to redline,
you should feel the manual pull.. hoo weee~

Hey...glad you are enjoying the car. I just got mine a few days ago and have not taken it past 5000 RPM yet. The V6 definitly is smooth and has respectable power, but I wouldn't really call it fast. I guess that depends on your idea of what "fast" is though. Compared to my WS6....well there really is no comparison.....anyway, what is the average 0-60 and 1/4 mile times on for the 6S with 5 speed ???

Anyone ???

The thing that impresses me most about the 6 so far is the handling. It feels so light and nimble.

0-60 on a 5-speed 6S is 6.8-7.0

yep...you need an intake or just for now remove the resonator and you will solve a lil of your low end torque request...vvt like intakes(thumb) invest in one...read up before you buy tho...

congrads and yes it feels like a smaller car in the twisties and feels like you hug the curves as if it were a long lost friend (Opp sex) not like other cars that give you the church hug where only sholders touch....I had a ups style truck hit my car...had it checked out...alignment still on par...thats quality!!! you made a good choice
