Fuel Cut?? Boost dropping idk WTF????

Since I have had my MSP I have experienced the occasional cut in the cold weather... A couple of months ago my car just started running bad i replace the 02 sensor and got a used MAF from a wrecked 2002 protege lx same part number on the MAF tho...but it still messes up some its driving me nuts I love this car and do not want to get rid of it i have tried everthing i know plugs wires cleaned egr??? could it be a fuel filter idk please help i do not want to invest money in parts i dont need.

try running the MAF on the cold pipe..I've heard it gets rid of the fuel cuts

It could also be due to boost spikes caused by a faulty wastegate actuator. Here is a link to the thread about the WGA.

I would recommend the atp wga, you will get increased reliability and an added 1-2 psi under boost! The info on the atp wga can also be found by searching the forums. Good luck.

The atp wga is set for stock 6psi and is not adjustable. Forge makes an ajustable one that can be found on this site in the protege garage section. Below is a link to it.
