truthfully, not that I believe you or disbelieve you, but seats can be swapped out, that dont mean anything. Now as to price, I think you wont find many (if any) people willing to pay $10k for it. Around here you'll be lucky to get $8k, maybe your girlfriend should have tried trading the Pro in for her new car.

agreed...and no im not interested in downgrading from a msp to your very rare car...but my intent is to help people on this forum get the right info so they do not get taken by false claims. And after doing a google search you can find plenty of these es gt's in canada for sale.

You do not need to be defensive about my question...it was just that "a question". Like i said if i was on a forum and someone posted something about their "rare, only 5 made car" I would hope someone would try to verify it whether they are concerned with buying a car or not...and yours is not. And the canadian prices are lower than you are saying...less than 9000 american...so id suggest posting a non scammer price...good luck on the sale

It's true Canadian cars had an ES, and an uplevel ES-GT model. The ES-GT was identical to the P5 inside, with the exception being the shifter surround. The P5 got the silver color and the sedans got black. It's no bulls***... The MP3 interior though, might have been a swap... What dealer did she buy it from?

no doubt buddy

besides all that, they are not mp3 style door cards and they don't match the seats.

and besides that, there are no forum specific pics, so if i was a mod, i'd close this now.

Well all of the cars on those list seem to have ES seats, and if the interior was so rare or special then I would think that all of the listings would include interior shots. Wierd.

Agreed. And yes, why is this still open? There are no proper pics what so ever.....post reported.

Okay this was posted in the Alberta section so that locals who are informed of canadian models would see. The ES GT is not rare. That is quite a common car like I said they tend to go for $13k www.autotrader.ca

This car however has the upgraded seats, and a short ram intake. It came this way from the factory. They also had a "GTR" badge on the rear trunk. The code of the passenger side door frame backs this claim up. So again, please if you are not interested in buying, dont post. I think that enough of the web board trolls have come out and expressed their opinions. Thank you.

What is the code on the door jamb? I'm guessing it's NZ? She's obviously not the first owner, and whoever owned it before put in the MP3 seats, as well as the short ram and GT-R badge. No protege's came with either of the last two from the factory.

GTR badge? Can we see some pics of the whole car? Including the build tag and rear badges?

Yes, please, we would all like to see them.

And when you do please read the FS posting rules FIRST. If not your thread(s) will be closed. Thank you.

Even if it does say special edition, the MP3's can be had cheaper than that, with better exterior to go with the interior.

Not around here they cant.

I will try and get and get a picture of the build tag today.

Those were my thoughts when we bought it from the dealership, but the sales guy assured me I was wrong, he sold the car new to the original owner as well.

As for NZ I cannot find it anywhere on the build code.

In the picture you can see at the ride side it says 2.0 Special Edition. The interior code says BN4.

As for shutting down the thread, if a mod wants to wouldn't mind. I posted on here to sell, and I seem to be doing is defending the car. I enjoyed going to the meets from this web board, the members seemed nice. But right now I just don't understand the hostility. I'm not trying to rip anyone off. The price is fair, for around Calgary AB, even if the car was not a special edition.

Hey man, right on, I know there is an ES-GT. I wasn't doubting that at all. Can you take a quick picture of the back of the car? I'm just curious of the badging. Please?
