i went in alone by myself and they gave me a extremely high rate something along the lines of 7.4% or something. Went home all in a pissed off mood cuz i couldnt afford the car i wanted. My dad took me in sat down for a little bit with a rep, and with my dad as the holder of the loan and me listed as a dependant/payer im establishing my credit with a sweet rate using my dads credit score.

7.4 is very low and 3.2 is just fricking ridiculous. Mine is 9.4 and is the lowest of anybody I know.. What the hell does your dad do?

You might want to try posting about your car on some of the other tuner sites around and you might even find a website for tuners in your local area.

Try craigslist.com as many of the users there are younger.

done, done, and been done...Craigslist IMO was huge waste of time, Cars.com, & eBay already. Couple local papers & now its up at Bargainnews.com, an east coast based site. I might try that carmax thing but i heard that dont offere s***
