$133/month with Metlife for me.....thats just as much as your base line Honda Civic. People under estimate the fact that these cars are still "Protege's". Just b/c Mazda slapped a Turbo in it doesnt mean the insurance companies know its any different from a Protege

Is this car still around? I'm going to check with various banks for an interest rate and with my insurance for cost/mo come Monday or Tuesday. What is aftermarket and what works/doesn't work or is worn? Is the car still under warrenty?

Car is in deed still here...Everything works as is you were to buy it from a dealer. New brakes were installed last Wednesday night in the front. Tires were installed last October and then taken off for my winter tires. So this summer is the first real season they got. Car itself is still covered for another 20,000 miles on its original factory Mazda warranty. Keep in mind the car only has 35,300 on it, that now a days is unheard of for an 2003. The warranty will last you a couple more years & believe me will come in handy....let me know man, PM me and i'll swap info with you

I only pay about 130 per month for my MSP and my Wife's PR5.
Ah cheap insurance, one of the few joys of being old

I'm sure he would be. He's been trying to sell for a long time and didn't want to resort to giving it to a dealership that would molest it and stuff. It would be awesome to see it go into the hands of another forum member

most def....willing to work with whomever and not get screwed or screw anyone, i dont play those games...its coming down i just gotta suck it up and work deals out...im very easy to work with. Many others can stand behind me who bought off of my FS threads

i called my nationwide agent and i own a p5 now and i asked how much to change to MSP. he said that there were two prices i told him the higher price and he said my payments would be 14.00 more a month or 100.00 more every 6 month ( i still have my reckless/speed on my record LOL)

i dunno man....i swear to you according to Metlife the Mazdaspeed Protege is just another Protege....the car doesnt exist lol yay for me!!!! Either way compared to other crazy cars, insurance isnt bad at all for these unless your a loony on the road with a history lol (not pointing fingers)
