oh it was too BIG... and was one of the smaller rings. i was thinking you might be effected in the too-small center ring semi-recall.

push harder:cool: seriously though, just give it a little elbow grease and you'll know when it pops in. sometimes the small ones can be stubborn... it MAY leave tiny scratches in the bezel around it, but i bet you could buff them out if you really wanted to. and theyre totally unnoticeable unless you know theyre there.

O trust me, I was pushing them so hard I was getting scared about breaking my gauge cluster, lol. The 2 small ones were perfect, slightly too big, so I pressed the s*** out of them and they are seated really nice and even around the gauges. But the large one just wouldn't quite sit all the way down.

so one large one is too big on yours, and too small on someone elses. did you try the tap test? it should stay - it doesnt take much force to get them to stick in well, sometimes it takes more to get them seated all the way down. i dunno...?

got the rings in car 2 smaller one fits nice and snug, larger one moved a bit but knocked them around did not seem to want to move. Added a tiny piece of two-sided tape on opposite side of the larger one to make it a bit more snug in the cluster and no chance of it moving now.

more available for preorder... guess i should have clarified. im guessing yours will go out tuesday, but theres a chance they'll make it tomorrow.

shop is closed right now, and probably for the day... which unfortunately means everyone is bumped back a day. people who were supposed to ship today will go out tuesday, people supposed to go out tuesday will go out thursday.

Ok, here's those pics. A few different angles:

reut1 - was your big ring too large, or too small? (was the flange sticking out at all)

My big one sits just like ucMP3's large ring. it has that large gap at the top. seems like it is too big because it just cant wedge in there far enough. the two small ones are perfect with no gapping around any of them. If i tape it in i still have a gap around it. Ive tried pressing really hard but the big ring wont snap in like the smaller ones.

relative to itself.. maybe.. but relative to the cluster, no.

They're both circles... How would you "center it" beyond how it just drops in... Symmetrical circles center themselves within another symmetrical circle of roughly the same size.

^Yay! I didn't break mine, lol. (lol2)

The 2 small ones I got were perfect, same as you reut. Just the big one is a touch too big.

clearly yours is not centered... because its not behaving symmetrically.

nevermind, sorry I even tried ya ******* smartass.

Lol, sorry bro. Not tyring to be an ass, but it's not that they aren't centered... It's that the inside ring is too big to fit into the outside ring. Just barely.

O ya, and anyone else notice that their light output on the right half of their tachometer is very dark now with the ring on?

My point was if you seated it in centered, instead of seating in the bottom first, you may be able to get it to seat all the way around and be even, instead of having the gap at the top.... mk pumpkin?

I don't think the ring could change the light output level. It can change how much is reflected.. but the gauge should be exactly the same. No chance you damaged a bulb while you were in there messing around?

It was centered when I dropped it in, but when you press it in, that's what happens. And the gap is less noticeable on the top of the ring, so that's where I left the gap at.

That's a possibility... I was thinking the ring just blocks the light reflection maybe or something. But I could have broken a bulb I guess. It's always possible. God damn "Tap Test" lol. (crazy)
