Front Stabilizer Link

Our Mazda 5 has now gone through 3 stabilizer links in a little over a year.

Our mechanic says it all looks normal to him. Any thoughts on why they could be breaking?

what is the failure mode? (what part of the stabilizer rod is the cause for replacement)

Is it actually breaking? Is an end coming loose? Is one of the hold down bushings breaking or wearing out?

I do know that it is actually breaking, though I don't know where.

Are they all breaking on the same side of the car? What brand of links are being used to replace? How do your front stabilizer bushings look? Is your stabilizer bar stock or upgraded?

Ok, how do you know it is actually breaking? Hope you don't say by sound b/c I'd ask how do you know it may not be something else . A pic would speak more.

Are you on stock suspension?

Because the mechanic told me it was "broken"... Heres a few more questions for the OP to answer: Has it always been on just one side that the link breaks? Have you always gone back to the same shop to get the car fixed? Why would a mechanic tell you it looks normal after he has completed the same repair 3 times in one year?
