Just wanted to rant about my leg, im new to this board so people here dont know this yet. ABout one year ago I broke my Femur the strongest bone in the human body. Had surgery was in the hospital for 2 months and went thropugh intensive physiotherapy.

Anyhoo on tuesday i went back to the hospital to get the bolts and screws out. The doctor told me i would be up and about that same day doing stuff like riding my bike and such. But here I am on wednesday and still my leg is killing me. I hate being like this totally useless.

Anyways just wanted to rant

Don't feel too bad man... It will get better.

I broke the femur in my right leg in three places (a compound fracture... came out of my leg) when I was 11 years old. I wrecked a four wheeler, and when I went over the front my right leg got caught in the forward facing gun rack... not good. Anyways, I had 3 surgeries, and was in the hospital for 3.5 months. Physical therapy for 6 months, and occupational therapy for 1.5 years. Being older is probably harder on you than being 11 I would imagine, since your bones are pretty much done growing. The main thing is to try and keep a good attitude about it all. Your body is probably still trying to get used to the extra support the hardware in your leg provided. Give it a week or so... If you have any questions or anything, send me a PM or respond here...

Good luck with it!

Later,
Will
