faster time.. 3:19.483 (w/a stupid .6 penatly, it was clean pass! dangit.. stupid slow computers.)

LOL, yeah the AI is what's pissing me off, they don't move out of the way and drive "courteously" when they should see my car is 10x faster. Instead they drive like total dick *****!

I was doing a SWEET ass run, banging out 37 second laps on the first 4 laps. I'm coming around on the 5th lap where the big looping first turn is, and one of the AI computers is taking the turn tight on the inside (you know how the AI follows "the line") so I go to pass on the inside, and I'm passing him and it gets to that small S curve and the AI cuts over and pretty much does a PIT maneuver, like the police do, on the rear bumper of my car and ******* spins me out.

I was so pissed that I threw my controller at the TV and hit the power button on the 360 and shut it off

I decided **** that s*** and went to play gears 2 to progress more on my INSANE difficulty run through for the achievement.

but GOD man... if I could have made that last lap I know I could have hit a 3:17 to 3:18 time...... ARRRRGH!!! @#$#@$%!^!!

yep, thats what i'm pushing for.. but those dang AI get in the way.. and if you caught them 'there', was probably a 3:20ish lap, cuz thats where i catch 'em haha

I had already past most of them (I catch them on lap 4 slightly before that sharp U turn # 4, if you're counting a total of 6 turns on the track like I do), this was like the guy in "first" of all the AI cars. I think he cheated and tried to take me out on purpose!!!

Plus I added it up, if I can get like 37 seconds per lap that would be 3:17 (if you're doing 37 flat, which I obviously wasn't) so my final time would have been between 3:17-3:18 if I could have stayed consistent and that bastard AI didn't take me out. Zhao's Xbox 360 am cry

wish they would give lap by lap times so I could figure if I'm launching better at the start. The race starts like 3-4 secs before you hit the start/finish line.

only way you can do that is if you do the testing, or time trials. that will give you the lap by lap time.

what are you turning on first lap?

my 'average' -
1) 41.5ish + ~3.5 start
2-5) 38.75ish
ends up being around 3:20.xxx

my 'best'
1) 41.0ish + ~3.5 start
2-5) 38.6ish
ends up being around 3:18.9xx (my best is 3:19.483* so far)

* of course, i had .6 penalty on last lap.. stupid AI tried it on me too

so, if you are running :37 - :38 laps...
1) 40.0ish + ~3.5 start
2-5) 37.0
ends up being around 3:11.5 (which would bring you to top of LB. w00t)

1) 41.0ish + ~3.5 start
2-5) 38.0
ends up being around 3:16.5xx

unless, you screw up on first lap or start (i do that.. haha)
1) 42.0ish + ~3.5 start
2-5) 38.0
ends up being right in the middle of 3:17-18 (alright)

I'm running high 37s low 38s a lap. and my first lap is never over 41.5 on average it narrows around to low 41s (i did get a mid 40 on that "perfect lap" I was running before the AI ****** me). I know how to launch it good so I don't spin tires like crazy (drive2)

hahah.. have you tried putting them on a different level? so you catch them @ different times, or learn 'their' line.. b/c .. they take that line regardless of what you want..

Yeah right man..... the higher the level the dirtier they drive. I swear. They drive more aggressive in higher levels.

That would be fun but it depends if the demo is showing scoreboards. If not there's really no way to verify the times posted.

Not really, I just think it would be a good test of mettle and skill. A lot of people have high class cars, but few people have good middle class cars, since C class maxes at 550.... and Leguna Seca because of that nice 50 foot corkscrew drop. Tests a players skill as well. Laps is all your discretion... 5 might seem long on that track with only a C class car.

Anyways I was referring to if there is a career race for that track in that class with that number of laps. I'm not certain that there is one.
