For Sale issues with yellow pro5 (anyone affected please post in here!)

Hey guys, I sent Yellow Pro5 a check for lover $200 for sonme parts for my P5over 2 months ago, and i still have not got the parts, and he keeps giving me excusues after excuses?

Any of you guys have any problems with this guy?? his name is Zach?

I asked him if he had a paypal account and he told me no, so i sent him a business check, come to find out I know he just purchased some parts of a few members with his paypal account?

I trusted him and now im getting screwed?

every now and then he responds and he assured me that my parts were going out today and that i would have tracking #'s pm'd to me but I got nothing?

any and all help would be appreciated. I am going to go to my bank this week and see if i can recover my funds, and then i am going to try and see what other options i have criminally.

I hate when you put your trust in someone, and they just take your money.

I have been a member on many forums and have never had a problem, this is a first.

Thanx! guys

Have been reading this thread half the night. Unreal.

Has anyone scammed thought of going to his employer with all this evidence?

Anyone?

Just a thought, as it would be one of the first things I'd do after contacting banks, and the authorities.

And to all, good luck.

That would be great, make him pay to all the people he scammed.
Btw,here's his cellphone number if anyone that lives in Dayton can do something.
His name is Todd Zachary (937)-271-5061

forget the phone number, ask the mods for his IP address(s) and ping the s*** out of him.

At least get his info out to the guys on 4chan.

i still haven't gotten anything... including a phone call or a text. i've given up though. his local police told me i have to go through my local police, and my local police say they can't do anything for me. i just won't buy from a private seller any more unless its posted on ebay or something.

Honestly this is not a "common" occurrence, he is an exception to the typical seller out there. It does happen, I got scammed once for about $120 when I was 17 (I don't even remember what it was I was buying at the time) but I've never had it happen again and I have made A LOT more purchases since then with private sellers. Honestly I understand the feeling of not wanting to get "tricked" again, but at the end of the day it's only money and I personally won't let the actions of others dictate my actions. Just learn from the situation and be more vigilant in the future,

Yes,at the end of the day is money, but it hurts when you work your ass off to make money and that little you made to get your precious autopart is taken and your part never got to you.
Not matter how you look at it,is disgusting and frustrating.

i was scammed out of 650 for a new R/C car setup when i was around 16. i worked a lot and drove a minivan, i mean i had to spend it on something.
it took about 6 months and a call to a lawyer, but i eventually got paid back. the difference is this guy has nothing to lose even if he gets sued or arrested. sucks for everyone involved.
fortunately, i think thats my only experience with a scammer...

the moral support is great guys, but lets keep this restricted to the topic at hand.

No offense, but it is already 20 pages long, so I think we've sorta passed the point of trying to keep things on topic (silly)

Not that I'm trying to diminish what those people who got scammed lost - there's been no winners in this, even with the jerk who scammed everyone. After all, he's got to live with himself.
