Yes it's a bit more expensive, but for a decent Chrome/metal custom engraved plate frame that's not all that bad.

That's the exact one I got. It looks great in the sun because the cnc parts kind of sparkle in the sunlight.

My mom told me about one of these that she saw at the dealership down south, but I think I prefer the smoked cover I have on now.

I think someone asked this question but I never saw a reply. The frames on ebay are they chrome painted plastic or chrome plated metal? I'd rather have the metal plates myself.

in the desc. it says "ABS"... Hence, plastic!!!

well the one I got is aluminum and I know there are chrome ones that are some type of medal also because my friend has one. I got mine from ebay. they are the ones from vancouver BC. Another thing great about the aluminum ones is the fact that they hold the plate tight so it really helps to eliminate plate rattle on a high power sound system.
