I have a 02 P5 and I'm looking for new fog lights. I've looked all over town but no one seems to carry after market lights that will fit. Can anyone help?

go for piaa40, I have them and they are really bright~~!!
Tomorrow I'm going to get eurolite H3 bulbs to replace regular H3 bulbs.

I'm also looking for fog lights...

Bijou-MP5.....

I searched for the piaa40 on that website.... is that the "40 RND" that you're talking about? It looks good, but I noticed that it is 6.25" diameter and our stock fog lights are 5.5"
Does this increase in size make in difficult to mount?
And do you have a picture of the front of your car with those? I want see if the size difference makes any difference in looks.

Thank you!

you put them on you car?

yes i did, i currenty don't have digi cam, so I don't have any pic of my car... :(
but it fits right with littld mods

You will need a 2 1/2" to 3" bolt of any diameter (just as long as it will fit into the bracket assemblies) to make the arm. You will also need nuts that will be able to screw onto that bolt, along with various washers, or larger nuts to help form the "arm" extension. By shortening the bolt, the driving light will be closer to the bumper and not stick out as much and looks more like OEM. As a new revision, what I had recently done was take the bolt, take 3 washers, put them on the bolt then slide the bolt and washers into the bracket on the fog light. I then added 9 washers to the other side of the bracket on the fog light, one locking washer, and then a nut and screwed it all tight :)

wow. that's a lot of washer... You must have a friend or family member with a digital. I gotta see how this is mounted. I just can't picture what you're talking about...

I just found this thread after finding the 40's on PIAA's site. These are the ones I had in mind. Did yours come with the fog light covers (not the grills, but the solid cover)? If so can the cover still fit over the light?

i just got them for mine but have not installed them yet. i am also a distributor for piaa if anyone is interested.

bijou, how long did they take to install?

Bijou, I forgot to ask earlier, where did you run the wires through the firewall?

I know the covers come with them, I'm just curious if they can still fit over the light, with it being bigger than the stockers and the bumper not being very big.

Thanks,

KYMP5, since our home didn't have garage, it took about 30mins to do them. but it's really simple installation though. :)
scotthidley, do not use wires provided by piaa(too complicated), just cut wires and reconnect to factory ones.
i used to have 100watts running on them and no problems at all.
more question, just let me know
