I'm confused why you are you so eager to talk about "out of state road trips"?
OK, I lived in Tampa last year as a reasonable example.
Where are you honestly gonna go outside Florida on a weekend? South Georgia? South Alabama? Biloxi, Mississippi?? Talk about suck ass!
GACC can easily reach Birmingham, Charlotte, Chattanooga, Asheville, Nashville, Savannah, Charleston in a heartbeat.

Are you hosting the RA event? If so, I'd like to talk to you about it. I'm planning to host a track day up there next spring. Then, in the summer, you guys can come down and drive Sebring with us!

we have been to nopi nationals 3 times and once to NC (whip)
the fact that it takes longer for us to get anywhere is a proof that florida clubs are better (first)

The RA track day is hosted by Panoz Racing School. http://www.panozracingschool.com/TrackDays/TrackDaysSchedule.aspx. It's open to everybody and anybody. I currently plan on attending July 17.
As a side note, I just realized their price as gone up, damn.
