Firefox problems

probably fglrx then. i even have the fasterfox extension installed and it makes no difference. same issue with swiftfox

I'm on my ultraportable right now with mobility radeon running the xorg open source driver no problem.. on my thinkpad and desktop running fglrx with a 9600 pro and a 9800 pro, respectively, no problem either :P

it's only digg that gives me an issue. 100% for a few seconds, can't scroll down until the page fully loads. whereas with opera i can start scrolling before everything loads up, and it goes to 100% for like half a second. i guess if it was a driver issue it would affect all browsers. i'm gonna try tweaking firefox

fliggirty floogle. 100% but then is flogert with my apps.

just felt left out....don't speak the language...you know.

WHEN IN ROME....

i noticed that what lags it even more is that the page referring to google analytics. we use it for our projects at work and it's slowing down the page load times. oh well. still much faster on opera though

i use the no script plugin so that never loads for me

whatever it's not really a big deal. i'll have a core 2 duo system built soon and i'll probably pick up a mid range nvidia card. dont need anything too fancy since i don't game

Call me oldfashioned, but I don't get what is so much greater about firefox over IE? Can someone explain it to me?

Everything... someone told me today that they installed Explorer 7.0 on their company machine and everything got messed up... I couldn't relate because I live in a world with greener grass.

Not to mention my dad works for a government defense contracting company and they treat 7.0 like its a virus but of course it was only one year ago that they were allowed to use XP for classified computing - took six years for them to feel its safe enough... lawl

in a nut shell, most if not all microsoft products, especially the most recent ones, have vulnerabilities. not saying firefox doesn't, but no where near as much as ms
