Finally Purchased a House

:
2003 Mazda Protege LX/MP3 Wannabe
Well, my Wife and I finally purchased our first home, it is a 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath, 2 Car garage, about 1700 sq feet, and has vaulted ceilings in both the living room and master bedroom, his and hers walk in closets, and stone fireplace with a mantle that goes all the way to the ceiling.

So far we have not moved in, but are adding our touches to it first, the previous owners has odd tastes in color, had to remove some wallpaper from the kitchen and entry to add texture, we should be done by tomorrow with the paint, and be able to actually move in.

The garage work will come in the later weeks :)
But for now enjoy the pics....

The Protege finally has a home.

My Wife likes the Spicy MSPs, so I took one of my GTSPEC parts(Closest thing I had) to Lowes and had them match it, they had some glitter packs that were added.

Well, we didnt get done as much as we had hoped, the appliances arrived, and had to run around town a bit today. The kitchen walls are textured now, so waiting on that to dry.

The new appliances:

Removed the UGLY kitchen lighting and going to replace with some track lighting, more work added to the table.

I get something out of this though, the lighting from here is going in the garage :)

Yea, really, we didnt really know what we could afford until we went to a lender and found out, then we went out looking, my dad was/is my Realtor as well.

I bet that rocked haivng your dad be your realitor! A simalar house here in jacksonville,fl would be 150-250k easy depending if you want to live in the ghetto or not and thats with a house witha 1 car garage if any! lol

The neighborhood is really quiet and the neighbors are nice. Plus the location is close to everything!

nice. looking good. yea, i like my campus apartment, ahaha. (silly)

can't wait to see it when it's all done, and of course the garage.

nice, here a house like that would run about $500,000-$600,000.
.........damn I hate living in such a nice area.

That's good. Cause i wil be a little worry about them glass window in your living room. they look like an easy entry for thiefs. I think it's me so used to the metal bars on windows in NYC. haha
