So I finally got my car friday, yippeeee! But what a mess getting it.
I ordered it on May 26 and the dealer told me that it could take up to 5 weeks to get it, but that he'd never delivered one past 3 weeks.

On June 24, my salesguy told me that my car had arrived at their other location, and that he would deliver it to me at the beginning of the next week.

On June 25 he told me he was mistaken and that the car was still in Vancouver (I'm in Montreal), and that he didn't know when it would come in.

On June 29 he called me and told me that the car was there (again) and he would deliver it by the end of the week. Impossible if it was in Vancouver on the 25th, but I want my car so I'll believe anything (thumb) .

On July 2, I call him and he tells me that he won't be able to deliver it until the beginning of the next week because they're installing the electrical systems in the car... what!!! (hand) When my bf tells him "shouldn't all that already be in the car from the factory", he tells us that they haven't received the paperwork for the car yet so he can't send it to prep.
My bf gets pissed and calls the other location, they tell him they don't have the car yet.

On July 5th I tell the dealer that the car is not at their other location, he says "oh, I figured it would have been there by now" (gun) Says he'll check and call us tomorrow morning.

On July 6th of course he doesn't call so we call him. He's not working that day and hasn't come in! Bf gets pissed again and calls the sales manager. The guy tells him that the car is currently on a train (it only got on the train June 28) and that he doesn't understand where my salesman was getting his info since the sales manager is the only one with access to the info and the salesman never asked him anything. He tells us that the car is coming in on Thurs. and that he will send someone to pick it up directly at the railyard. He PROMISES that the car will be delivered LATEST the beginning of the next week.

July 13 I call and ask for my salesman, he no longer works there. They transfer me to another guy who tells me that they can't deliver my car until Friday. I speak to the manager again, he tells me that the delay is that the spoiler I ordered is not in (not like they had enough time to order it before...).

Finally on friday (July 16) I go to get my car, and guess what! no spoiler. The new salesman didn't know there was supposed to be a spoiler on the car. It's written on the bloody contract!!! (pissed)
On top of that, I told my first salesman, the sales manager, AND the new salesman specifically that I didn't want their dealership sticker on the car. Of course they put it on anyways (the guy removed it for me when I threw a fit).

So now I have my car, but I have to call the salesman back monday to find out if the spoiler is there...

Sorry about the long post but I had to rant! I've never seen such incompetence before in my life.

Man that suxs, i got my car last week. All I did was went their with my dad and we picked one off the lot and it only took bout 3 hrs to get the paperwork and insurance all done. It was killing me. In the end I was on my way home thanking my dad again for the thousand time for the car.

that's how I ended up getting my 6.. I ordered a 3 in february and it was the beginning of june and I didn't have it yet.. I've been back to the dealer and it came in at the end of june.. I ended up buying my 6 june 10th.

I bet if you raise enough h*ll, You'll get the labor for free and maybe some other free stuff, along with an apology..

Geez, that's terrible!
I had similar problems with Albi but after complaining a lot, they threw in the A/C and raised rear spoiler for free. I ended up saving over 1600$ :)

Who did you buy the car from???

It seems there are lots of horrible Mazda dealers up there in Canada.

Almost every horror story I hear about is a Canadian dealer, except for that one gawdawful dealer in NY state.

I honestly don't understand how those places stay in business. There's too much fair competition down here in Texas for any dealer to screw around their customers like that. Bad dealerships go under within one year around here.

yeah..and i'm talking trash alot.
I dont expect them to put the red carpet each time I go.
all i'm asking, is just to be honest with me.

you dont have time to do it, dont start the job, and i'll schedule another rendez-vous.
you dont have the piece, just give me a call when you get it.

Haven't checked the ratio of good/bad/country yet, but I gotta drop a plug in for the dealership that I went to - Pacific Mazda in Victoria. We only have the one dealer in town, but there are many others on the mainland, and up island. These guys treated me right, and I never once thought to make a "business trip" to go car shopping in a different city.

Congrats on the car, cutiepie! Too bad things aren't going well at the dealer. I bet you'll forget all about your woes once you develop that unavoidable and unbreakable bond with your 3, though! ;)

You Should Go To Mazda Spinelli In Lachine They Have The Best Service And Theire Mechanics Are Verry Good.

congrats on finally getting the car cutiepie..i had a similar horror story with my dealer and ended up going to another dealer and had the car within 3 days..anyways enjoy

Yeah, I would have just gone to a different dealer to get the car instead. Not that its a limited edition car to be worth while to take so much BS for.

I called every dealer in the area to see if they had one in stock. No one did, so they would have had to order me one, and I would have been starting from scratch....

That's too bad you have to go through all that without a choice. Glad you finally got your car though.

I also purchased my car from there, and my salesperson got fired cause he treated us like s***. There anyways all incompetent over there, except fpr Stephane in service and Angelo in finance, the rest are a bunch of fucktards.

Really you shouldn't have taken the car, without the spoiler. Now they don't have to give it to you.

You should have cancelled the contract since the car isn't to spec.
