Custom Hard pipes going in this weekend. Debating weather to go with the Dual Set up or just venting in the atmos, yall let me know which one is better for our car. Thanks yall

seriously, the car isn't meant to vent to the atmosphere w/ the MAF. running open vent will make you run rich during shifts and you won't be able to just pop the tranny in neutral if you're above a certain rpm, or the ecu will dump too much fuel and stall the car.

running the stock BPV w/ an open vent BOV will sound almost the same and keep your a/f ratio where it needs to be.

i have my greddy type-s venting to atmosphere.. no MAJOR stalling problems but i do stall out only if i give it some throttle(high rpms) then let off really quick..its up to you.. i love the sound it makes :) ppshh tssssss :D ya gotta tune that greddy just right otherwise u will stall like crazy venting to atmos.

Bypass is what works on the MSP...It's what it comes with. Venting causes an the ECU to dump fuel because the Mass air tells it that air is entering the engine, when indeed it's not.

I was going to go with 505 set up at first then I saw TexDem then I got caught in the middle in deciding what to do, so I turned to the council.(scratch) (naughty)

I have the Greddy venting and don't have any problems. Sometimes it may seem like it wants too. It's all how you drive it.

Relocate the Mass Air to the pressure side and run whatever BOV you want!!

Sorry to threadjack, but how hard would that be? As simple as just having hardpipes made with a section for the maf just before the throttle body?
