FEEDBACK, boost gauge install

okay, just did the new hook up into the vac hose off the intake manifold, i am now spiking a 6 and settling at 5.5psi, that has got to be the real psi right, is that pretty standard for msp's

because i thought that 7 psi was normal for stock

yup thats about right. its 5.5-8psi basically. so pre ic showes a higher number and post ic shows the correct amount and pressure drop is a factor i guess. good to know

ahh, it feels so depressing looking at less boost.. but at least its all hooked up right, i have a unichip comming today and i must have the gauge reading right. it also seems like I have to punch it alot more to get gauge results then before, keep in mind i have a boost gauge only, doesnt show vacuum backpressure.

if u have a unichip make sure u get an intake or it might lean out up top. mine did.

yep, that's where i tapped mine too.

5.5 just seems so low... well my unichip didnt come today so probably mon, that help the low feeling.
