leave.
You said impossible... All I'm saying is, it ain't no thing. (whistle)
I think you can see from my 225/45/17 on 17x7, that I don't go for stretch.
leave.
i know i might sound stupid but wath is wrong running washers...they fitted perfect on each bolt. What can happen? Actually, i was more confident with the washers than the non hub centric spacers that were floating a little.
yeah, 15mm is a WHOLE different ballgame, but with a 15mm spacer you have no place in this thread, because theres no way in hell you could pull that off.
You're crazy... You don't think I could fit a 16x8 with an effective +35 offset? Not with 245/45 like you're running, but I could definitely fit 225/35 on front & stretch the rear a little with 205/40. Worse comes to worse, 195's in the rear, but they would fit; no rubs.

I know for a fact that a 15mm spacer would put me into the fender HARD. My car rubbed a 215 tire at 40 offset... so without a serious fender roll, I don't see it working at 35, and personally I don't see the point in putting a 215 tire on an 8" wheel. if you want to run tires that small, stick with a 7". 225 is the absolute smallest, if I had more clearance, I'd go bigger in the back. I may try the 245s back there just to see what happens.actually, based on the clearance i have in the rear, i think 15mm with FD's on 215/45's would fit fine.

I'm just speaking form what experience I have... a 215/45/17 on 40 offset 7" wheel will rub without a heavy fender roll. 225/45/16 on a 47 offset does not, but there is certianly not a ton of clearance.15mm is just over a half inch. i have at least that much clearance between my tire and fender in the rear.
and my 215/45's are not really stretched. i can still lay the tire down flat on the ground and the rim wont touch. i dont call that stretched.

unless you lower the suspension, hit a big bump, or are taking hard corners...taller still means you are closer to the fender.

i'm going to have to take some measurements tonight...
what offset are the wheels though?
