Fall/Winter Meet

Do you plan to bring anything?

We will meet at 2:00pm to give us time to cruise before it gets dark out.

WRCprotege, Jason, suggested having the Fall/Winter Meet at his place in Fern Creek. He lives right off of Bardstown Rd making it easy to find, that is by I265 and Bardstown Rd for you NKY guys. We can meet, eat, and cruise. he has plenty of parking also.

Jason and I have spoken about it and we think that a Chili Cookoff/Meet will be right on time considering the confersations that take place about places to go eat at past events.

If you can't bring chili, you suck at cooking or are driving too far to manage a cooked dish on the road, then you can bring a few two liters or some Frito Scoops.

What do you guys think? If we can get a couple people to bring a beef based chili I can bring a Mexican Black Bean or a White Chili. Then have some Scoops and some pops and we will be all set. I will grab some dogs or corndogs for the kids.


Now to choose the date and sign up for what you plan to bring. Jason is down for when ever.

Ugh it looks like most want the 22nd.. Thats the one day I can't do on the list. Thats when my family is having thanksgiving because my cousin is a RA at louisville and has to be there over the holiday..

I can't do the 22nd either. Dec. 13th or 20th is best for me. I have morning plans on Dec. 6th but might be able to show.

i voted for the 22nd, but any day is cool with me. i have a VoiP deployment the morning of the 6th, so if all goes well, afternoon will be free.

I voted for the 22nd, but just realized my dad's birthday is that weekend. I won't be able to make that day after all. So don't count my vote.

What's with every mazda meet being planed on days there is a UofL homegame? lol. I can make any day except the 22nd.

As I said before, it's hard to schedule something like this. The particpants can't even make up their minds if the date they voted for is valid. The chili cookoff is a good idea, though. Good luck!

we can do it the 23rd or following week, or after 3:00 on the 22nd i can meet up
i have some work to do to the car as well, no worries.. im game for whatever.. a quik meet, drive, dinner, i do have JICs to install, brake pads to switch out, and an oil change to do.. i mabey will be removing the rear motor mount insert and rebuilding the AWR rear sway bar endlinks..so theirs that should anyone feel the need to get dirty.. lol OH!and i have a wrecked miata in the garage now.. theirs plenty to do thier as far as tear down goes.. -j
james i order another set of HIDs to replace the one that died, i should have that this weekend as well, i may mess with the fog HIDs to see what is up with that, the headlight should be just replacing the bulb, i had tested the balast and it was working fine before, 5 min fix... so if all else fails, your welcome to come over for beer,cars,and fire pits lol

Update:

We are going to have the meet on 11/29/2008, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.





Also, if anyone wants to install anything or wrench a bit just let us know. I normally have tools on me.
