Factory Nav Question -- HELP!

I've got the factory nav on my cx7 and I'll be damned if I can't figure out how to use the previous destination function :( (which I really loved on my traded-in Ford).

When I go into previous destination - the only active touch screen key functions availabile are delete or delete all..I assumed I would be able to see a list of my previous destinations and choose one for my current route

Hit "menu" then "destination entry" then go down to "Previous destination". You are hiting "address book" instead of "destination entry". The address book is just for managing the address or adding one to the list. The "destination entry" is the place to, well, enter a destination. This will only be active if you have previously entered destinations. BTW it will hold the last 100 entries. Hope that helps if not PM me and we can walk through it. Where do you live?

Beautiful Colorado (eekdance) DumbA*S me didn't realize on the destination entry screen you can actually scroll down to a whole other screen of commands..Found it right away -- AWESOME!!

yeah...it pays to explore. I didn't even look in the manual to operate the navi. It is user-friendly even if it looks plain versus the aftermarket units.

BTW, whats your location in the midwest? I'm from the Chicago burbs

Yes it does -- I did read the navi part of the manual, but it doesn't offer too much depth. Interesting how my Mazda service or sales person could not help either (rant)

Am up in Minny Shaz...

You should have been given a whole book on just the navi unit, the small part in the manual does nothing. (screwy)
