Well, here's the deal with warranty-work... if you have a mod of ANY kind, you don't void the entire warranty, you void your coverage for that part. So, as it stands now, I can't get a new intake, BPV/BOV, or shifter from them, since i have a COBB SRI, HKS SSQV, and COBB STS installed. Everything else is still covered. As far as exhausts go, it doesn't matter if it's aftermarket or not, an exhaust is a piece of the car that WILL eventually go bad, so even if it's aftermarket, have it professionally installed either at mazda or otherwise, and if not at mazda make sure you have the service report from where you had it done.. its like oil in a way, its gonna go bad, DIY or not. They can't blame your aftermarket parts for the problem with the stock turbo, they may be connected but the aftermarket part has to be DIRECTLY responsible for the problem and they have to prove it otherwise you can take the argument straight up the corporate ladder and get it taken care of higher up. its all about leverage and knowing what you can get away with
