CX-5 Belt Change Mileage?

:
Mazda CX 5 Touring
I have a 2019 CX-5 with 82,000 miles and a NA 2.5L. Anyone with any info as to when they changed belts. I would hate to be on a long trip and either belt fail.

Inspect regularly, change if signs of wear are detected, changing occurs roughly every 30k miles give or take because usage and environment varies. If there are signs of wear, it should be changed regardless of when it was last changed, and if it was last changed recently, you know there's a problem with premature wear.

In your case, if the belts look good, your trip would have to be maybe 20k miles before being concerned that a good looking belt might be a source of failure. I worry more about tires for long trips before I concern myself with drive belts that look fine.

The belts last a long time, but if the car had a 'major tuneup' at 75k they might have changed them.

If I were concerned and planning a long trip I'd possibly pick up some belts at a dealer and take them along, as having the right parts would be a big help if you had a failure.

There is a belt tensioner on the serpentine belts that can leak after several years, a quick look at it might be a good idea.

The smaller belt (water pump) lasts long time but its super easy to change if doing the other one.
The other one probably would be good to change at your mileage (if never changed) and check the tensioner as well as they tend to leak.
