Evo X pricing announced

hmmm, A 135i with software, intake, exhaust, and a big intercooler for the win.

The ralliart version could be the more sensible choice by far and give the MS3 a run for its money. It might even steal sales from the X.

I know which one I'd rather buy.
if the ralliart is essentially a 10 with a more simple AWD system and a slightly detuned engine you'd have to be crazy to spend the money on the 10. people buying the car are going to mod it anyways so the power difference doesn't matter as long as it's the same engine. the 9 AWD system is still a great system. so unless you have to have the best of everything (like if you were racing it, but then you'll pull out all that mass appeal garbage they shoved in there anyways so it really just appeals to people with more money than common sense) the ralliart makes sense. hopefully they gear production accordingly

Wierd. Funny we were talking about this. I just called my Manager at Mitsu regarding something different, and he told me the Evo X's are supposed to land in Vancouver next Wednesday. They'll be held there until they go on sale in Febuary, but at least they're already on the boat!

Just ask yourself if you would be willing to still pay for this car in 7 years when your almost done paying off your loan and you've gotten old and fat and driving an EVO just makes you depressed when the high school kids see you.

Well, you could buy the vette instead and in 7 years when you're still paying it off you will actually have the age to go with the car.

What if we're already fat? Does that mean we have to go with the 'Vette?

I don't really think you'd have a very easy time getting an 84-month loan, either, BTW. I know it can be done, but it's not easy.

whos to say that if you bought the vette you'd still would look at yourself in 7 years and say "wow, I really do have a little penis..."

This guy I work with thinks he's a "baller" and spends every DIME of his every paycheck. He has a house, C6 Vette, brand New Avalanche LTZ, PS3, 360, 2006 GSX-R 1000, basically financed out the ass. Well he told me the boat he just bought he financed over 25 years!!! It's a $60,000 boat, and I guess that's what he had to do. Some places are so desperate to sell u somethign they'll do w/e it takes. LOL he owes Wells Fargo until he's 99!

But at least then I'd have the 'Vette. Right now I've got an Avalanche and a small penis.

Wow. I know people that have financed boats for 10 years, and I was surprised they would do that. I guess boats don't depreciate anywhere near as much as cars do, though, so it isn't as risky.

The chances of an Evo not getting totaled in 7 years, on the other hand...

i'd be more comfortable financing a boat over a longer period than a car because they last forever (or at least it seems that way). i know/see a lot of people driving around in what looks like boats from the 70s that i'm sure weren't great boats new. they prob aren't on original engines and all that by now but they still work. how many chevy vegas do you see driving around still?
