I have already bought this setup:

Enkei CDR9 18x7 w/ +40 Offset wrapped in Hankook h405's P215/35R18

This setup WILL fit on a 2002 protege 5 lowered 2 inches, proof:

Is this person on our forums? if so i would like to know if he had any fender modification, and what else he had to do to get rid of the rubbing which may or may not have happened?

not to split hairs but if you have to roll your fenders and do other modifications thats not "fitting" if you want to tub the rear end you can get 20x13s on the back. doesnt mean they "fit"

and yes he is on here. i think its brianMP5 or something like that. he posts a lot so you should find him easily, good luck!

those wheels arent good looking IMO. just saying, you could find something better looking that does fit, no mods. but to each his own, post pics when you get em on!

i will post pics, im very partial to the european look of the 9 spoke rim.

I will be shaving the fender sometime this week, so that when i get the rims it will be allllllll good.

Whats the best tool for grinding? any metal grinding wheel? dremil? or air grinder?

well thier on, and they look great, the lower offset gives them a really aggressive look. AND NO RUBBING AT ALL! woo

Sorry pics pretty big (shocked)

Looks great mang. What kind of suspension setup are you running? But just to let you know that you can still go lower without rubbing.....here's mine:

It's actually my buddy's piece of s*** 94 Celica GT. He's such a dumbass.....It's got that god-ugly body kit and its juiced (hydrolics), plus he's got 20" wheels on the damn thing!! So when he lays it out, it's actually still sit higher than stock....pretty cool guy though, I just dunno what the hell he was thinking. Anyway here's another pic from the front.

my suspension is stock right now, im still scared to drop it down, if i do that ill be investing in some ramps for my driveway. Im pretty sure ill be installing some camber bolts if i want to go any lower, i have less than an inch clearance between tire and fender lol

Wish i lived in ur climate! keep the rims on all year long, then pirelli's wouldnt seem so out of the question! as u can see from my pics, it can snow any second.... :(
