Engine burns a lot of oil and is in need of replacement.

Goal is to do a msp swap

Parts I'm planning on replacing during swap:
-Timing belt and water pump
-Motor mounts
-Rack n pinion
-Clutch
-Remove Vic's

Parts I know I'll need:
-ECU
-Turbo
-intercooler and piping

Now for your help:
What am I missing? Will I need a msp radiator?

I realize that these motors are almost identical but I wanna go turbo instead of n/a and I have almost 4k to play with.

I'm planning on doing the swap in February so all help would be much appreciated!

Main bearing support tapped for oil return, coolant return tee, radiator depends on intercooler choice smic or fmic. All i can think of right now. c r o s s o v e r a u t o.com for parts

I found a msp motor with 63k miles so I won't have to worry about an oil return line. I plan on using stock intercooler. Will the stock intercooler bolt directly up to a pro5?

I basically want to make detailed list of everything I'll need to purchase. The motor comes with a turbo and manifold along with all the plumbing. The only parts I will need to request will be the intercooler, piping, ecu and whatever else you guys can think of. I basically want a stock msp engine setup when I'm finally done.
I should have mentioned that the engine I found was an msp in the original post. Sorry typing on a I phone sucks.

If doing a msp swap becomes a headache I'll just buy a stock engine and dream of going turbo one day. Lol

Thanks for the advice guys. I have to keep in mind though that this my daily driver along with family car. I would have kept my turbo mr2 if I wanted a cruiser.

In that case I'd prolly go Racing Beat exhaust or such. Will be quite quiet but will be nice to drive at the same time :)

as others have mentioned you will need to get the msp radiator to run the msp stock intercooler.
My advice would be to just put in a front mount from the start. its pretty easy to piece together with a cheap piping kit, and a z-line mishimoto intercooler. You will also need a BOV or BPV. I have a Synapse synchronic BOV i've been very please with it since day one.

if they don't give you the turbo with swap make sure you get all the coolant and oil lines with the engine, as well as the manifold and s pipe.

Nice to see you are going to upgrade the clutch something i neglected to do and learned the hard way. Clutch masters kits are pretty good im running an fx400 it grabs extremely well.

get a boost gauge. change the hardware and gaskets. SCE gasket for between turbo and manifold and oem for the manifold. Make sure you install a new timing belt tensioner spring its cheap and change all the oil seals.
