any suggestions for wiring kits for amps. i still have noise, and i think its the type of wiring! i got it from best buy, but i think i want something a little heavier. im gunna upgrade to 2 12's later, but all im running now is 2 kenwood 10's and i have no idea about my amp. its kenwood, but i dont know how much its pushin... or if its a mono block or not. i can post pics later if it will help. thanks.

well you should base your installation on what wattage you are planning on pushing. Basically the high tha watts the thicker the power supply wire whould be, and by the way, the lower the gauge the BIGGER the wire. This is the system i had in my blazer and it would literally flex the sheetmetal on the roof. Bazooka 1500w mono d block pushing 1 ten inch solobarack (square) L5 kicker in a kicker sealed box run off a (custom) 1/0 gauge kit. Streetwires zero noise rca's do what they say but are pricey. honestly must people though i had at least a pair of twelves. I sold this system to my buddy who bought the identical setup and ran both in his singe cap silverao. 2 hours later his winshield has a crack in it.

thanks

thats insane! thanks alot, youve helped me out alot. the box is ported, and i havent checked the amp at all. i got the setup from a friend, it sat in his basement for a good 2-3 months, for helping with his reno on his house, so i cant complain, its loud, but i dont think im doing it justice with the wiring that i have and the way its set up. thanks again,(cabpatch)
