Eibach Pro Kit For p5 any good?

Alright guys. Let's try to NOT scare this guy away after 2 posts. lol
Although mine aren't installed yet, from what I've heard the Eibach Pro-kit is a very good choice for a spring kit. Not too low (2Loww?) at 1.4" fr, 1.2" rr, but will improve handling and road feel. There are quite a few other options, depending on what your needs/desires are. Try doing a searh for Tein, B&G, Goldline etc..........
As far as your question about the short shifter, I can't help there, so maybe someone else who has responded could give you some ideas.

Yup, eibach pro kit is good choice for lowering the car for daily driving. It will improve handling a lot and the ride will still feel nice.

But, for autox and track, IMO eibach pro kit is not enough stiff. I need a stiffer spring. Is there a stiffer spring out ther for P5 compare to eibach pro kit? How about H&R, usually it is stiffer than eibach pro kit.

Tanabe Springs,Tein S-tech, or H&R are all good choices.

As far as "stiff enough for auto-x", my friend races a P5 in STS class as has pretty much taken the P5 about as far as he can considering the cars weight. It handles very well even for STS and he is using coil overs at: 275LB.IN. in the front and 400LB. IN. in the rear. And Tony's 21MM adjustable rear sway bar and Tokico illuminas all around, usually set on 2 front, 4 or 5 rear. Yes it really turns in good, but the ride to and from events is brutal. I dont think you can get anything this stiff without going to coil overs. But it is a trade off. :)

Yeach, I am still not ready yet for the coil over. I use my car for daily driving also so it might too bumpy for me. that's why I am looking for the stiffer spring. thanks for the info though
