Cause they are evil. The code is unbreakable, basiclly. Even if you could find a tech to do the flash you'd still have to address who the hell is going to work on the tuning. Not a simple plug and play task.strongbear0 said:Why can't it be done on a msp ecu.
ASIAN 6 er I really have a guy here in Tulsa who worked for Mazda up untill about 6 months ago. His name is Bruce Masters and he now works for Surfside Imports. All I've told him so far is to omit the fuel cut regulated by the mass airflow sensor and speed up the ignitions timing. I take my Speed in Wed. the 8th and need advise. To the rest of you 16 year old faggots who obviously know s*** about s***...Eat my exhaust, 13 second qtrs. suck!azian6er said:lol i love it when everyone just jumps on a newbs case.
what if he were right? would he want to come back and share his findings? i dont think so because everyone was a dick face **** wad to him. It is things like this that seriously bother me about the forum.
First off, i would like to mention that blkzoomzoom, you are a tool. I have thought this for a while, and I just think it shows from a post like this. Also, how you roll around prophesizing that you are "stock" and act like you are the s*** because you make fast numbers "stock"... it is just a big attention grabber, really that is all it is. I used to like you, but i now have realized you are just a tool imo.
and for everyone else jumping the noob, grow up. If we are ever to learn anything abou tthe car's we have and their potential, we need to be welcoming to others. I cant believe many members are naive enough to think they know ALL about all the possible tuning capabilities there are for our cars.
grow up, ther is a world outside of www.mazdamp3.com and others have ideas that we havent necessarily tested as of yet.
rant off.

Find a wideband and straighten out your air/fuel raitos. Then maybe get an experienced tuner and a dyno to tweak the spark timing. You also could try playing with the VICS transition point for s**** and giggles.travisto said:Have a guy here in Tulsa with the computer and codes to reprogram my ECU. If you spent as much time as me with fellow techs., Mazda tech. line help group, and actual Mazda engineers (hardly speak english). You would understand where I am coming from. It is literally near impossible to re-program this computer, and when done would cost an extreme amount time and money. In my opinion it isn't something someone found out how to do in there backyard.
I can't blame you for being upset though, if I spent as much money as you on a car only to have it break over and over I would be upset too.
Everybody here knows my car isn't stock, it's called a rolling joke, I'm sorry if you haven't gotten it yet.
He's flashed 20 or so MSp's when he worked at mazda. He says speeding up the ignitions timing will lean out the fuel curve and create the best HP motor HP. He says our cars run rich and I can vouge for that having black soot up the rear of my car every 2 days even with a high flow cat. I'm not familiar with VICS but will ask. Thanks for the advise! I don't know the details of the ECU, so I'll just say best of luck to you and leave it at that.
Keep us updated if you make any progress with this.
Be careful with that. Our car doesn't run that lean partial throttle with a heavy load. It actually starts to dangerously lean.travisto said:He's flashed 20 or so MSp's when he worked at mazda. werd. when someone makes a blanket statement of "i've got a comp and the codes, its getting re-programmed" it doesn't sound very official. the LAST thing you want to do if you're looking for big numbers is advance the timing further up top...Dexter said:And technically, yeah, if you read the eeprom, edit the values and burn it back, that should in theory work. Would take a hell of a long time , plus youd have to figure out the data positions and ... bleh so much s***.
